Sa'ar Meets Colombia's Incoming President in Barranquilla Before His Swearing-In

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar met Colombia's incoming president, Abelardo de la Espriella, at his office in Barranquilla the day before his swearing-in, publishing an account Friday morning. Sa'ar said the two discussed the immediate consolidation of political, security and economic relations, calling it an important meeting for the future of cooperation. He described de la Espriella as a determined and inspiring leader and a great friend of the Jewish people and the State of Israel, and wrote that the golden age in relations between Colombia and Israel begins today.
