Attorney General Narrows E1 Tender Delay After Ma’ale Adumim Petition

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara revised her position on the E1 housing tender following a petition by the Ma’ale Adumim municipality, according to a report published Monday. Her earlier instruction would have prevented contractors from submitting bids until after the election and postponed the tender period. Under the revised position, the tender dates and process would continue as scheduled, with the option to submit bids due to open Monday night. Baharav-Miara now asks that the bid box remain unopened and that no winning bidder be announced until after the election.
