Smotrich Warns Voters Against Gambling on the Electoral Threshold

Bezalel Smotrich warned voters on Sunday that taking chances with the electoral threshold could leave them without their political home. His Hebrew-language post accompanied a campaign video singling out Ofer Winter’s Amcha Israel through television clips about parties falling below the threshold. The video ends with an appeal to support Smotrich, whose warning links the choice of ballot to retaining political representation. The Central Elections Committee’s explanation of seat allocation sets the threshold at 3.25% of valid votes for a candidate list to participate in the distribution of Knesset seats.
