Iranian reports released images said to show fragments of a U.S. MQ-9 drone recovered from mountains near Assaluyeh. A report published at 11:56 p.m. Israel time said the aircraft had been brought down on Friday and that personnel used a donkey to carry dismantled wreckage down difficult mountain paths. The reports described the wreckage as coming from an aircraft valued at $30 million. No U.S. military confirmation accompanied the reports, and the images alone do not establish when or how the aircraft came down.
