Shin Bet Chief Zini Urges Restraint After Deadly Samaria Attack

Shin Bet chief David Zini held a security assessment at the site of Friday's deadly attack near the Samaria village of Tell with regional Shin Bet and IDF commanders. He said the attack was severe and painful, acknowledged that it had not been thwarted in advance, and offered condolences to the victims' families and wishes for the wounded. Zini said security forces had foiled dozens of attacks in recent months and would expand intelligence, prevention and offensive activity against terrorist infrastructure as operational needs require. He urged the public not to take the law into its own hands and to trust the IDF and Shin Bet.
