Kosovo Signs Agreement to Join Gaza International Stabilization Force

Representatives of Kosovo, the Board of Peace and the International Stabilization Force signed Kosovo’s Participating Country Agreement in Pristina, formally bringing Kosovo into the Gaza force. The Board said Kosovo would provide critical support for advancing U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan. Kosovo’s acting president, Albulena Haxhiu, had authorized deployment of the Kosovo Security Force to the mission on April 20 after the Assembly approved participation. The official announcements did not specify troop numbers or a deployment date.
