Report Discloses Fidan-Eisenberg Clash at Closed Board of Peace Meeting

A report published Thursday first disclosed a heated exchange between Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Michael Eisenberg, Israel’s representative on the Board of Peace, at a closed meeting in New York about a week earlier. Fidan accused Israel of “genocide” in Gaza, and Eisenberg objected, triggering a verbal confrontation, according to the report. U.S. envoy Jared Kushner intervened to stop the exchange. Senior Board of Peace representatives attended the gathering, including U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff; the report described Eisenberg as an associate of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
