Israeli Dentist Says Flydubai Captain Was Out of Danger After Saudi Treatment

Israeli dentist Shota Musayev said he understood from Saudi caregivers that the injured Flydubai captain had survived and was out of danger. Musayev described treating the captain's heavy bleeding from his head and hands after passengers restrained the attacker aboard the Dubai-to-Israel flight. He said the bleeding stopped and the captain became relatively stable, before his condition worsened near landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Speaking after the passengers returned to Israel, Musayev said Saudi personnel had treated the captain well. The account did not identify a hospital, treating physician or the time of the medical assessment.
