Flydubai Replacement Flight Leaves Saudi Arabia With Israeli Passengers

A replacement Flydubai flight departed Saudi Arabia for Israel around 17:30 on Wednesday, after the original flight was diverted to Tabuk following a cockpit incident. All Israeli travelers from the original aircraft agreed to board the replacement plane, which had arrived during the afternoon, after some initially refused because they were afraid. Departure followed a reported Mossad review of the replacement flight and cabin crew, completed shortly before 17:00. Ben Gurion Airport prepared a dedicated reception area for the returning travelers and their families.
