Lapid Says Flydubai Incident Was Not Raised in Netanyahu Security Briefing

Opposition leader Yair Lapid said on September 30 that nothing even resembling that morning's Flydubai aircraft incident had come up in his security briefing with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu the previous evening. He said the subject had not appeared even indirectly in the briefing. Lapid issued the clarification in a post on X while responding to the aircraft incident. In the same statement, he accused people drawing a connection between the briefing and the incident of using Israel's security for political purposes.
