Netanyahu and Katz Order Military Flights to Retrieve Flydubai Passengers

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to send military aircraft to bring home passengers from a Flydubai flight diverted to Saudi Arabia. The Israel-bound flight from Dubai landed in the Saudi city of Tabuk with 174 passengers, including 27 children. El Al had earlier offered assistance in returning the passengers to Israel. Flydubai said everyone on board was safe and accounted for, and that its teams were working closely with the authorities following the incident.
