Flydubai Israel Flights Reportedly to Pause for Six Days From Thursday

Flydubai flights to Israel reportedly will be suspended for six days beginning Thursday morning, October 1, following the cockpit incident on a Dubai–Tel Aviv flight. Secured Israeli aircraft are to replace the flights while the investigation proceeds. The arrangement was reported to have been coordinated with United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed. Flydubai says flight FZ1073 diverted safely to Tabuk after an altercation on the flight deck on September 30. The airline says the motives remain unknown and a formal investigation is under way.
