U.S. military planners have reportedly drawn up a concentrated three-day campaign targeting Iranian missile and drone stockpiles, energy installations, Revolutionary Guard command centers and military headquarters. President Donald Trump reportedly rejected five earlier proposals for major operations against Iran or Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis, and the preparations do not establish that he will approve an offensive. Vice President JD Vance led senior national-security officials in discussing updated proposals at Camp David last Friday. Commanders reportedly could begin a larger offensive within days if Trump changes course. U.S. and Iranian negotiators still differ over when nuclear terms should be addressed.
