Moovit to Add Special Accessible Polling-Station Finder for Knesset Election

Moovit plans to add a feature that finds the nearest special accessible polling station using a voter’s location, in cooperation with the Central Elections Committee. The election-day service will also help users find their registered polling station or nearby stations. Voters whose physical condition limits mobility and prevents them from voting at their registered station may use a special accessible station through the double-envelope procedure, subject to legal eligibility. The Committee stresses that locating another station in the app does not grant permission to vote there; the general rule remains voting at one’s registered station.
