Bismuth Warns of Election-Day Threats After Special Security Briefing

MK Boaz Bismuth, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said Monday evening that he had held a special security discussion ahead of the election. He said participants reviewed threats and alerts across the various arenas, alongside attempted foreign interference. Bismuth warned that Israel’s enemies would try to disrupt election day, without naming a specific adversary or describing a particular attack plan. He said the security establishment was highly prepared to protect public security and ensure that the election could proceed.
