Liberman Accuses Netanyahu of Putting Coalition Funds Before Cost-of-Living Promises

Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on October 19 of putting coalition funding ahead of pledges to ease household costs. In a Hebrew social-media post, he recalled promises before the previous election to lower living costs and fuel prices and provide free education from birth. Liberman alleged that the government had instead transferred more than NIS 24 billion in coalition funds over four years, including allocations to yeshivas and other institutions he linked to military-service exemptions. He presented the spending as a failure to deliver those earlier promises.
