Poll Shows 81% of Opposition Voters Plan to Vote, Versus 74% of Coalition Voters

A survey released on October 19 found that 81% of opposition supporters and 74% of coalition supporters intended to vote if the election were held that day, compared with 72% overall. Asked about Donald Trump's public backing for Benjamin Netanyahu, 64% said it would not affect their voting intentions, 12% reported stronger support for Likud and 17% less inclination to vote for it. These answers measure stated intentions, not actual turnout. Midgam Research and Consulting, headed by Mano Geva, surveyed 507 adults by internet and telephone on October 19. The maximum sampling error was 4.4 percentage points.
