CBS Estimates 810,000 Eligible Israeli Voters Live Abroad

The Central Bureau of Statistics estimates that roughly 810,000 Israeli citizens eligible to vote in the 26th Knesset election live abroad. About 6.5 million eligible voters reside permanently in Israel, out of a total electorate of approximately 7.3 million. The resident electorate has grown by about 333,000 people, or 5.4%, since the November 2022 election. Among eligible voters living in Israel, about 77% are Jewish, 18% are Arab and 5% belong to other population groups, according to figures released on Wednesday.
