Danon Says Netanyahu Will Present 'Vision on How to Confront Iran' at U.N.

Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon said on Thursday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will use his UN General Assembly address to "present his vision on how to confront Iran, and what actions should be taken." Danon said the promised "surprises" will include new evidence of Iran's misbehavior, and that confronting Iran is "the responsibility of the entire Western civilization," not only the White House's. Acknowledging "a tough period for Israel after three years of war," he said "the hostility is not about Netanyahu. It's about Israel." Danon dismissed the absence of a Trump meeting on the brief trip, noting the two leaders have met eight times since Netanyahu returned to office.
