GCC Chief Condemns Houthi Attacks on Riyadh and Khamis Mushait as Grave Escalation

Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi on Saturday strongly condemned the Houthi ballistic missile and drone attacks that targeted the Saudi cities of Riyadh and Khamis Mushait. He called the attacks a perilous escalation, a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and an immediate threat to civilian safety and regional stability. Albudaiwi said GCC member states stand in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support all measures it takes to safeguard its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity. He urged the international community to take a decisive stance to halt these recurrent terrorist aggressions and hold the perpetrators fully accountable.
