About 200 Gur Hasidim Protest Outside Attorney General's Tel Aviv Home

About 200 Gur Hasidim demonstrated overnight outside Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara's Tel Aviv home after a larger rally at Military Prison 10. The earlier protest opposed the 20-day detention of a yeshiva student who had reported to a recruitment office to arrange an exemption. Organizers canceled a planned mass gathering at the attorney general's home after dangerous overcrowding and disturbances at the prison, but a smaller group arrived independently. Participants carried signs saying they would not abandon Torah students, and reports said verbal and physical confrontations occurred with passersby.
