Haredi protesters who oppose military enlistment plan to block roads around Bnei Brak on Wednesday after a yeshiva student was arrested for draft evasion. Shas lawmaker Moshe Abutbul said the student had been summoned to testify at Lahav 433 in a fraud case and was arrested after giving his account. Roadblocks are expected from about 4 p.m., most likely on Highway 4 or Jabotinsky Street, with additional locations possible. Abutbul said the arrest breached an understanding with Police Commissioner Daniel Levy and warned that it could deter Haredi citizens from approaching police.
