Araghchi Claims U.S. Senators Seek a Way Out, Attacks Netanyahu

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi claimed on October 10 that American senators wanted a way out of what he described as catastrophic failures. In a Persian-language Telegram post, he attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, comparing him to a bankrupt gambler and accusing him of seeking rescue at the expense of more American lives and property. Araghchi did not identify any senators, quote them or cite evidence for their alleged position. The post announced no congressional decision or concrete proposal; it presented the Iranian minister’s accusations against Netanyahu rather than documented statements by U.S. lawmakers.
